Letter from the Editor
From Joi:
It’s summer vacation for me, and while I’ve spent a lot of this season struggling between the dueling serpents of Discipline and Relaxation, I’m starting to realize that maybe one isn’t the evil twin of the other after all. It won’t work for every task, but…maybe a few more moments to breathe are all YOU need to succeed.
StarCrash!! with Jeff recently closed out its latest cluster. Luckily, I have a backlog! I mean, it’s really small, so you’re not gonna see it for a very long time until I add to it. But it exists! Look forward to it!
Speaking of stuff to look forward to…hope you didn’t miss the latest Quinlan Vault entry. It’s a doozy!
Well, see you in the Q-Zone (that’s my name for The Quinlan Circle Zone, a term which I won’t explain–if you know it, you know it)!
Coming Soon
Have you heard of Invisible Werewolf Dracula meets Vampire Mummy Frankenstein? Well, you’re gonna hear a lot more of it soon. That’s all I’m gonna say about that.

Apogee is a Sci-fi story that follows the life of one (definitely perfectly normal, please stop asking) Maya Ione as she finds herself trapped in a month long time loop. She must work to find out what’s happening to her and how to escape, but perhaps she’s not the only one stuck in this situation. Will she be able to work with these people to find a way out, or will whatever has her trapped in time get to her first?
Spectacular art, fun character dynamics, and a futuristic-paranormal-psychological trap that reminds me of the best of early Bleach. This comic is a delight to read. Definitely one of Tapas’ sleeper hits!
